尊敬的各位领导、嘉宾、各位老师和同学们：
下午好！我很荣幸站在这里。我非常荣幸地代表北京大学深圳研究生院2014级全体毕业生在此发言。在北大深研院的历史上，我是第一位被选为毕业生代表的留学生。能够在无数毕业生中脱颖而出，成为北大历史的一部分，我感到分外自豪。
回忆两年前我们第一次来中国的情景，一切恍如昨日。两年前，我们来到繁华的都市深圳——一个在过去几十年中一直象征着发展、创新和商业成就的城市。正如深圳是中国开放、变革和成功的符号一般，北大深研院的巨变也在我们眼前展开。今年我们有30位国际毕业生，而在即将到来的新学年里，我们将迎来100位国际新生。我们建起了新的教学楼、健身设施和学生公寓。作为这个成功的国际化校区的一部分，我们感到分外自豪和欣慰。“前沿领域、交叉学科、应用学术和国际标准”将会一直成为北大深研院的发展驱动力和标准。
经过了两年的学习，我们不仅从一个久负盛名的名牌大学取得了学位，我们也充实了自己，提高了自己适应新环境的能力，融入了新的文化，交到了来自世界各地的朋友。通过与来自世界各地的同学和中国同学们在一起学习、生活，我们学习了汉语，学会了用筷子，也理解了中国独特的“关系”文化。
繁忙的学习生活培养了我们的竞争精神和力求完美的态度。我不能说自己当初一来到这里就已经准备好面对日后的这些压力。这两年的学习生活并不容易，但正是因为我们在困难和挑战中学习，我们才成为了今天的自己——一所国际知名大学的合格毕业生。
我相信，北大学生、尤其是北大深研院的学生应充分利用这所国际化校园带来的独特机遇以及深植于我们内心的国际视野。 我们深深感激能够得到与来自中国各地以及世界各地的同学们互相交流、理解的机会。同时，我们也很感激能有机会见证深圳这所创新城市的发展。中国，这个富有深邃文化历史底蕴的国家正以巨大的经济推动力成为世界共同体的一部分。在我们开启职业征程、成为国际领袖的道路上，我们北大人负有与世界分享我们的视野的责任。
我很庆幸，在北大深研院的学习直接帮助我在香港找到了一份投行工作。我在校期间加入的国际资本市场协会、高尔夫球队以及其他国际协会都帮助我融入了本土商业文化。我也非常感激这些社团的组织者和成员在这两年中给我的各种经历。到目前为止，这是一次愉快的征程。但我相信，这仅仅是一个开始。我们还会开启成长为本土化、区域化以及国际化商业领袖的征程、开启独立生活以及建立自己家庭的征程。我们的未来就在我们自己的手中，没有什么能阻挡我们的梦想！
我谨代表北京大学深圳研究生院2014级全体毕业生，再次感谢北大深研院的各位领导、老师和同学们。感谢你们给予我们在这里学习的机会，感谢你们在这两年中传授给我们的知识和经验。我真诚地希望我们在世界各地可以一直是朋友、一直保持联系。

Great Leaders, Distinguished Guests, Dear Professors and students,
It is a great honor to stand here before you, not only as a representative of the international students, but as a representative of all PKU Shenzhen students. As the first international student selected as a student speaker of numerous graduating students, I am proud to be a part PKU history with you here today.
Having spent two years at PKU Shenzhen, it still feels like it was only yesterday when we arrived to China and started our studies here. We arrived in the bustling metropolis of Shenzhen, which has been world’s landmark of progress, innovation and entrepreneurial success for the last three decades. This city is China’s symbol of opening, change, transformation, and so is PKU Shenzhen. The transformation has been happening in front of our eyes. With 30 international students in the graduating class today, we will witness 100 new international students arriving for the new academic year. We are honored and grateful to be a part of the PKU’s success story of becoming a truly international educational institution. New Frontiers, Interdisciplinary Studies, Applied Research and International Standards are and will be the principles and major driving forces of PKU Shenzhen towards this goal.
After two years of studies, we have not only earned a degree from a distinguished and reputable academic institution, but also learnt a great deal about ourselves, improved the skills of adapting to new conditions, immersing into a new culture and making new friends from all over the world. Learning Chinese language, mastering the skill of eating with chopsticks and understanding the ‘guanxi’ culture are only some examples of our experience together with our international and local classmates.
Through academic rigor and relentless work we have been taught to be competitive and excellent at everything we do. I would be lying if I said that we all came to PKU Shenzhen properly prepared for this venture. Our path has not been easy, but we have learned through challenges and setbacks, and finally become who we are today – graduates of a truly international university.
I truly believe that the role of PKU students, especially here at the Shenzhen Graduate School, is to take advantage of this unique opportunity we have had here on our international campus and the global vision that has been instilled in all of us. We are all grateful for the opportunity to build relationships and create bridges of mutual understanding with our classmates from all over China and from around the world. Moreover, we have been able to be a part of the development of Shenzhen, an innovative city in a country with a vast cultural and historical heritage that is rapidly merging into the international community as an economic force. With these advantages, it is our responsibility, as representatives of PKU, to share our world view as we start our careers and become global leaders in our fields.
I believe that my studies at PKU Shenzhen have directly helped me pursue an investment banking career in Hong Kong. The Capital Markets Association, as well as Golf and International associations have facilitated my integration in the local business environment, and I am exceptionally thankful to the leaders and members of these associations for the experience gained during these two years. It has been a wonderful journey so far, yet I strongly believe that this is only the start. The start of our journey to become local, regional and global business leaders and managers, the start of our independent lives and soon – our own families. It is in our own hands to manage our own future, and even the sky is not the limit for our ambitions.
In the name of all of the students, I would like to thank the great leaders, professors and students of PKU Shenzhen for the opportunity to be students of Peking University, for the great knowledge and experience gained during these two years. I truly hope that we can all remain good friends and stay in touch with our international community.
