Forum for Ecological Education and Sustainable Development (Branch of Education Forum for Asia) is held by PHBS
由北京大学汇丰商学院主办、北京大学汇丰商学院绿色经济研究中心承办的“亚洲教育论坛生态教育与可持续发展分论坛”于2013年10月25日-26日在四川成都锦江宾馆隆重召开。
Forum for Ecological Education and Sustainable Development (Branch of Education Forum for Asia), held by PHBS and Centre for Green Economy, is open in Chengdu, Sichuan from 25th, Oct to 26th, Oct.

在博鳌亚洲论坛、中华人民共和国教育部、四川省人民政府的大力支持下，由北京大学汇丰商学院绿色经济研究中心协助本次论坛组委会邀请到了各国际组织、教学机构、企业的国内外嘉宾。其中，联合国前副秘书长Maurice STRONG先生，欧盟地区委员会秘书长Gerhard STAHL博士及联合国政府间气候变化专门委员会（IPCC）副主席Mohan MUNASINGHE教授、国际生态发展联盟理事长David Ness博士等国际著名绿色经济专家与会并发表重要演讲。

Under the support of Sichuan government, ministry of Education of PRC and Boao Forum for Asia, Centre for Green Economy of PHBS assists the committee of the forum to invite many domestic and foreign guests from international organizations, education institutions and enterprises. Well-known experts in the field of Green Economy attend the meeting and deliver important speeches, including Mr. Maurice STRONG, former Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, Dr. Gerhard STAHL, Secretary-General, Secretary General of the Committee of the Regions of EU, Prof. Mohan MUNASINGHE, Vice President of IPCC, and Dr. David Ness, Executive Chairman of Ecological Development Union International.

作为本次分论坛的主办方，北京大学深圳研究生院院长、北京大学汇丰商学院院长海闻教授将与欧盟地区委员会秘书长Gerhard STAHL博士一道发表主旨演讲，并与2007年诺贝尔和平奖共同获得者Mohan MUNASINGHE教授等著名学者就 “面向可持续未来的国民教育：以幸福感为核心的富足社会”这一主题进行对话。

Representing the hosting party, Prof. Wen Hai, Chancellor of Shenzhen Graduate School and Founding Dean of HSBC Business School, will give a plenary speech together with Dr. Gerhard STAHL, and talk about the theme “EDUCATION NATIONS FOR A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE: Well-being Ahead of Wealth” with well-known scholars including Mohan MUNASINGHE, the co-winner of Nobel Peace Prize 2007.

北京大学著名环境科学家耿旭教授以及我院的黄一鲁副院长、黄海峰院长助理、李志义院长助理、KenHung教授、Eric Benrud教授、徐伟助理教授、兰赛助理教授将参与“面向绿色社会的体制转型”、“可持续发展意识教育”、“绿色创新与技术”与“可持续商业与绿色投资”四个议题的讨论。希望通过这次论坛，进一步加强我院与国内外教育机构的合作。此外，成都论坛之后，部分国际贵宾将顺访我院，并出席在我院举办的“企业社会责任与商业可持续发展论坛”。

Prof. Xu Geng, well-known environmental scientist of PKU and Associate Dean Philip Huang, Assistant Dean Haifeng Huang, Assistant Dean Zhiyi Li, Prof. KenHung, Prof. Eric Benrud, Assistant Prof. Wei Xu, Assistant Prof. Sai Lan will participate in the discussion of four topics including “Institutional Transition Towards A Green Society”, ”Sustainably-Aware Education”, ”Green Innovation and Technology” and ”Green Financing and Investment”. We wish to enhance the cooperation between PHBS and other international education institutions. After the closing the forum in Chengdu, some of the international guests will visit PHBS and attend the “Corporate Social Responsibility and Business Sustainability Development 2013 Conference”.

这次论坛的举办，不仅将展现我院的国际化的联系力，而且也进一步提升在教育界的国际影响力。我们深信，通过各届人士的思想碰撞与知识交流，我院的国际化水平将得到提升，为同学们带来最前沿的知识信息与广阔的全球视野。
The forum will not only present the international connection of PHBS, but also enhance our international influence in the field. We believe the exchange of knowledge and thoughts between scholars will bring our internationalization to a new level and give our students the leading news and a broad global view.
